“ Stopped in while in town with friends for an event. We sat in the smaller beer hall for beer and food. The service was great. We had a few samples before choosing a couple of beers. The chicken tacos and pretzels were delicious. ”
“ My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception at Royal City Brewery and it was absolutely perfect. Amber was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. She was easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. It was clear from the beginning that she wanted the day to be exactly what we envisioned. The serving staff on the day were so fun and took excellent care of us and our guests. Now, I have to give a HUGE shout out to chef Lee. The food was unreal. Guests kept commenting how good it was. We had a guest list with quite a few allergies and dietary restrictions and Chef Lee and Amber were so excellent at making sure all of our guests had enough food to eat. That effort did not go unnoticed and we are truly thankful for their efforts and culinary creativity. Thank you to the whole RCB team for helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect. ”

“ Amazing selection of beer and food. Usually breweries have okay food but this place has a good selection! Highly recommend the pretzels and the duck fat fries. On top of the great food and beer selection, there are non alcoholic options like kombucha, tea, wine, cider, and other alcoholic beverages. The service was also amazing. We had Kamari as our server and she was lovely! We will definitely be back here ”
“ Pretty good selection of beers. Menu was fairly small but what they offer seems like a good value. I had the Haloumi sandwich, and my wife had the Shawarma Cauliflower. Both were very good. Only downsides is it's quite loud inside (lots of glass and brick) and parking may be an issue but we went on a Sunday when the other businesses were closed so it wasn't an issue for us. ”
“ We’ve been waiting to visit Guelph again so that we could drop by Royal City Brewing. We already loved it from living here years ago and they somehow managed to top previous excellent experiences. We barely spoke a word after the food came out because we were immersed in our delicious meals. Always a pleasure to come here and yall managed to out-do yourselves! ”
“ Another great craft brewery experience. Visited Royal City Brewing on a day trip to Guelph this past weekend. Tremendous positive first impression. Friendly welcoming staff (Thanks, Julia!). We were first-time visitors, and Julia suggested having a couple of small samples to help us narrow down a pick. I tried a taste of Berserker and the raspberry wheat collab between RCB and Bellwoods. The raspberry wheat was tasty, but I was always going to go for the sour... Berserker was great, and I brought home some for later. My partner had a taste of both IPAs, and settled on Cat Dead, Details Later. The food menu sounded good, and from what we saw (and smelled) of others' meals, the kitchen is doing a super job. Our next trip up to Guelph will definitely include a stop in at RCB! September 7, 2024 C & J ”
